This next video was filmed on December 9, 2009 at our Rotary Club's Head Start Holiday Season Dinner Party for Latino families with young children from about 4 to 7 years old. After the dinner the children and families open presents from their Rotary hosts. Some songs are sung and then Santa arrives with candy canes for all the children.
This video was filmed at our November 25, 2009 meeting where our Rotary Club gave financial grants to 9 valley non-profits.
This video was filmed on November 22, 2009. The first part is Charlotte Vanderhurst's introduction to our club's "Tuesdays with Morrie" fundraiser play which was performed at the Church of Carbondale featuring Jon Whitfield and Mitch and Bob Moore as Morrie and directed by Wendy Moore. Mark Cook also talked about club member Ron Robertson who was in a Denver hospital after several operations. The second part of the video is of the opening scene of the play.
Each November our Rotary Club gives every 3rd grade student in the Carbondale elemtary schools their own picture dictionary. This video was filmed on November 20, 2009 at one of the schools.
Our club made a DVD to play for and to cheer up Ron Robertson who had been in a Denver hospital after several operations. The following two videos were filmed on November 18, 2009 by Don Voltmer to document the making of the DVD.
The first annual Carbondale Rotary Lawn Game Shootout and Picnic at the Brendlinger Sports Complex 10/03/09 with two person teams competing for bragging rights in volleyball, horseshoes, basketball, ping pong, soccer, croquet, badminton, bocce ball, football passing and golf!
