Carbondale Rotary Club Member's Responsibilities:
1. FINANCIAL COMMITMENT:
Initiation is $35; Dues and breakfast are $45.00 per month and billed quarterly; each Member is required to purchase two tickets annually for and participate in "The Happening", which is our club's main fund raising event. Required Membership dues and other fees may change from time-to-time with approval of the Board of Directors.
All Members have the option to be a Rotary Foundation Sustaining Member for $10.00 per month. Please speak with the Club Treasurer.
Annual Member financial minimum commitment is approximately $1,100 annually for Rotary events, dues, and donations.
2. TIME COMMITMENT and ATTENDANCE:
An average Member invest 3 to 5 hours per week over the year for Rotary events and activities. Weekly Meeting attendance is required. Make-up attendance at other Rotary Clubs are accepted as attendance. Notify Membership Committee when you will not be in attendance. We do believe that attendance keeps members informed and active in the club.
3. TRANSFER OR REACTIVATION OF PREVIOUS MEMBERSHIP:
Please note that our club requires transferees or reactivation of membership be treated like new 'red badge' members. 'Red badge' members are required to complete the 'Red Badge Chicklist' to become a 'blue badge' member.

5. RESPONSIBILITY:
As a Rotarian, I take full responsibility for developing into a knowledgeable and active member, with help from the Carbondale Rotary and Rotary International. I will exemplify the Object of Rotary in all my daily contacts and activities. I will abide by the Rotary International Constitution.
